There are a number of networks and forums for you to participate in, to understand the Med Tech sector in Aotearoa.
A number of initiatives also fund the inclusion of student researchers in innovation programmes. Identifying the areas you are interested in, and reaching out to those areas with your research interest and CV might be your first step.

If you want to pursue Med Tech opportunities such as research, internships, or events here are some options to consider:
- Callaghan Innovation and Kiwinet offer Research and Development student grants to subsidise student hiring.
- The Health Research Council provides grants and scholarships, including Emerging Researcher First Grants, Māori Health Research Scholarships, and project grants.
- Royal Society of Te Apairangi, provides Rutherford Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships for early-career researchers.
