There are a number of networks and forums for you to participate in, to understand the Med Tech sector in Aotearoa.

A number of initiatives also fund the inclusion of student researchers in innovation programmes. Identifying the areas you are interested in, and reaching out to those areas with your research interest and CV might be your first step.

If you want to pursue Med Tech opportunities such as research, internships, or events here are some options to consider:

  • The Health Research Council provides grants and scholarships, including Emerging Researcher First Grants, Māori Health Research Scholarships, and project grants.
