The Medical Design & Innovation Research Cluster provides product design and development research expertise for health research agendas, with collaborating partners from: industry, primary and secondary health care sectors, clinicians and related research institutions. The purpose is to innovate within the health sector (human and animal health), by leveraging our newly cemented partnership with the Consortium of Medical Device Technologies (CMDT). The cluster is focused on the commercialisation of products, delivering clear and measurable benefits through new product development (NPD) workflows, developed in partnership with sector experts.
